A nice hotel in a good location. Parking available. Good breakfast. A good restaurant attached to the hotel. Parking was important for us and I was a bit concerned if we would get a spot but arrived early and had no problem. There seemed to be parking available in the general area even if we had been unable to get the hotel parking. A medium sized hotel with friendly service. It's about 20-40 minutes walk to town depending on where you are going, and downhill. On the way back we found an escalator to get up the hill so ask reception for directions for that. Otherwise there seems to be a very regular no 19 bus to within about 5 minutes of the hotel. The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good. Probably not too expensive given the quality. We ate there both nights and were happy with it. There was also a nice bar/ cafe close by. It was a residential area with a nice park around the corner. We would definitely stay there again.

- My room was clean and spacious. - The floor I was on (3rd) was quiet. - The upscale neighbourhood is calm and pleasant. - Access to public transit is easy, offering multiple bus routes (and inexpensive fares) to reach downtown. - Taxi service is easy to arrange at the front desk and cabs arrivr on time. - The walk to and from the downtown and beaches is a work-out! (That's a good thing. I loved the hill ascents and descents.) - A very good café-bakery is a five-minute walk from the hotel. It opens early (7/7:30 a.m.) A pub is located in the same complex. There's also a small grocery market there, but its hours of operation are limited. - The cleaning staff was courteous and responsive.

Arrived early due to Bilbao ferry timings, but received a lovely welcome from the Receptionist who checked that our room was ready and allowed us to check in at 11am. The room was fine with a large bed, balcony and clean en suite bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast including eggs, bacon and Spanish Omelette as well as all the traditional continental breakfast offerings. Pleasant bar offering meals and snacks from the restaurant kitchens. It's approximately a mile downhill walk to the beach, and the walk back is heavy going, but the public transport in San Sebastian is fantastic, the 19 bus leaving every 15 minutes and landing you within 200m of the hotel.

We felt very relaxed in this hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and not cramped, with a little balcony. Cafe downstairs was mellow with fair prices. The hotel is a small hotel in a beautiful neighborhood away from the touristy section. There were buses a few blocks away that came frequently that we could take down the hill to the town. Picturesque location. Beautiful walks from this hotel to get to interesting sights. Staff was great. We asked for an electric kettle because that was not part of the amenities. They managed to find one to lend us during our stay.

Really nice hotel. We stayed only one night driving back to the UK from Southern Spain. But the hotel was impressive styllish, clean, tidy, efficient and comfortable. Good free parking outside the front of the hotel, good snackbar and bar area. I can highly recommend the cheeseburgers. As the weather was bad we stayed in and ate in the hotel restaurant that too was excellent. Staff were all friendly and quietly efficient too. Room was large and comfortable, we would stay again without hesitation.
